Community guidelines
Speak freely. Treat people kindly.
MicOn English is designed to be a safe, welcoming space for adults learning English. Everyone should feel comfortable pausing, making mistakes, and trying again without being laughed at.
Respect every learner
Listen while others speak, share the time, and disagree with ideas respectfully. Different accents, speaking speeds, and mistakes are part of learning. Laugh with people, never at someone's English.
No bullying or harassment
Do not mock, intimidate, threaten, or repeatedly interrupt anyone. Personal attacks, unwanted sexual comments, and discriminatory remarks are not tolerated.
Keep language appropriate
No cussing or other profanity, slurs, hate speech, or sexually explicit language. Choose words that help everyone feel welcome, even when a topic brings out different opinions.
Respect privacy
Keep the Zoom link within your own confirmed booking. Do not record, take screenshots, or share another person's stories or contact details without their permission.
If a rule is broken
The host may redirect the conversation, give a warning, or remove someone from a session to protect the group. If you experience a problem, email hello@miconenglish.com with the session date and a brief description so we can review it.
